“The little moments with family are what make the big memories“
Let me capture your family visit to Hawaii with a stunning sunrise or sunset photo session on one of the beautiful beaches in on the island.
If you’re dreaming of family photos on the beach in Oahu, you’ve probably imagined something between a postcard/ greeting cards or frame pictures on the wall.
While Sunrise Ka’a’awa Beach are always a hit, I’ve recently fallen in love with sunrise and mid-day, harsh light beach sessions. Why?!! Because they’re the perfect way to capture the beauty of Ka’a’awa Beach in a whole new light—litera lly!!! Also, I get to spend more time with my kids.
Why I love Sunrise Beach sessions?
Ka’a’awa Beach at sunrise!? It’s like having the whole beach to yourself and avoid from crowded instead sunset….The sky is painted with soft colors , and the air feels fresh and peaceful. Plus, you don’t have to worry about crowds, heat, and the wind tends to be a lot calmer in the mornings… It’s just you, the ocean, and the most beautiful light! But that is not always the case, but sometimes can we windy and raining often on east side. Kaaawa Beach is located on the east side of Oahu. It’s situated on the windward coast of the island.
How to Make The Most of a Sunrise Ka’a’awa Family Session:
Dress the part: This family rocked the light, natural outfit, and it looked great in the morning light! White, Soft, light, natural or light pastel tones are always a win for sunrise or sunset sessions- they make the photos pop.
Get up Early: Arriving about 10-15 minutes before sunrise allows us to capture the soft, perfect light. It’s a calm time when the beach feels almost magical.
Play with the Light : Sunrise light can be tricky, but that’s what makes it fun! I love playing with shadows and highlight to create airy, natural, soft, and happy photos that shines up!!
If you havent tried a sunrise session yet, give it a shot! It’s a fun challenge and a chnage to create something really special. Also, it’s the best way to start the day with your family, making memories you’ll never forget.
